Scottish Labour ridiculed for opposing vaccine passports

Scottish Labour has been ridiculed over its opposition to vaccine passports after it emerged that the UK party’s conference would require proof that attendees were double jabbed.

Anas Sarwar, the leader north of the border, has claimed that certification could “increase or entrench vaccine hesitancy among harder-to-reach groups”.

However, it has emerged that Labour members will need to show that they have received both doses or return a negative lateral flow test before being allowed into the gathering in Brighton, which begins at the weekend.
