An Indian technology company co-founded by Rishi Sunak’s billionaire father-in-law is under fire for maintaining business ties with Burma’s generals after they overthrew Aung San Suu Kyi in a coup.

Infosys provides software services to a Burmese bank owned by a military conglomerate controlled by General Min Aung Hlaing, the coup leader who previously oversaw the ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims.

Myawaddy Bank is part of Myanmar Economic Holdings Limited (MEHL), a military-run business empire implicated by the UN in genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Two generals are company directors.
